WIRE FOR BEAD WORK
Since we first introduced wire into our range "wire work" either on its' own or combined with beads has become extremely popular both in the shop and on the web. In fact our most frequent request on-line is for supplies for wedding tiaras.
Ever mindful of our customers needs we have introduced many more colours and sizes of wire from a variety of manufacturers. In addition we have a vast selection of small beads for this purpose. (soon to be listed; hopefully!!)

These wires have a variety of jewellery uses: you may like to make your own findings,(try making jump rings) or you might find the thicker wires are suitable for the base of a wedding head-dress.

Very fine wire sold on reels is used for bead work with rocailles and similar small beads. Use to make items such as flowers, small creatures, and Dolls House furniture. Or twist with pearls and any small bead to make wedding head-dresses and evening wear.

Use the "value" silver & gold coloured wire if the wire is to be covered up by beads. Use Silver plated wire ad coloured wire when the design requires most of the wire to be uncovered, thus making a feature of the wire with small quantities of beads added.
Some colours of the "Colour Craft" wire from the U.S.A. are soon to be discontinued. We have only a few colours still in stock which are being sold at half price. Please enquire by email for availability.
We are now stocking the "Scientific Wire Company" reels of coloured craft wire. We have in stock a full range of colours in size 0.20mm. We have reintroduced these at the request of our shop customers after an absence of a few years. This very fine wire is used for knitting and crochet with beads. Price is £2.50 per reel. (175 M.)
